What is live shopping?
Live shopping just means that Caroline is shopping in real time and posting the amazing designer deals she finds to the luxelet Instagram stories so you can shop along with her! Typically, a live shopping day can last anywhere from 5-10 hours.
How to shop with Caroline
While Caroline is in store shopping, a photo or video of each item for sale will be posted to Instagram stories. Each item posted for sale will have two prices. The “luxe deal” is how much the item is currently on sale for in store, along with the original “retail” price, so you know how much of a deal you’re getting. If you are interested in purchasing something, just DM The Luxelet! We will answer any questions you have about the item and provide a total cost. The total cost equals the luxe deal plus tax and commission. Once you agree to move forward with purchase, you must submit payment ASAP to complete your order. If payment is not received right away you may miss out on the opportunity to purchase to the next person in line for the same item.
Payment can be sent via Venmo, PayPal or Zelle - your choice! Just let Caroline know your preference and you will be given instructions on how to pay.
When Caroline is shopping from Chicago (her home base) commission AND shipping is 20%. When Caroline is shopping outside of Chicago commission AND shipping is 25%. In other words, commission includes shipping, so there is no additional charge to ship your item(s) to you. When Caroline is shopping from Chicago there is an option to pick up your item(s) instead. In this case, commission is only 15%. Pick up is located in the West Loop neighborhood of downtown Chicago. Please make sure to specify pick up prior to purchase.
All items will be shipped out ASAP via UPS ground. A tracking number will be provided via email.
The Luxelet is unable to accept returns or exchanges of any kind. However, a gift receipt can be included with your purchase upon request, if available. In that case, it is the customers responsibility to return or exchange the item to the store it was purchased from, according to their gift return policy. Please note: return policies with gift receipts vary by store. Generally outlet stores and sample sales are final sale.
